& The Wines and Vines Cluster All Breed Dog Show in Bakersfield, CA 2024
Life has been a whirlwind of chaos lately but we managed to start going to the dog shows a little bit again. This years' regional specialty in Bakersfield, CA was great fun. I made a mistake and didn't enter the specialty like I thought I did. As disheartening as that mistake was, I managed to properly enter the all breed shows that weekend thank goodness. The kern county kennel club and San Luis Obispo kennel club dog shows were loaded with great entries of Australian Cattle Dogs due to the draw for the ACDCGLA Regional specialty.
I am so proud of my dogs! We enjoyed getting to play with all of the big hitters of the USA. The top ACDs of the nation came to the specialty.
Top handlers and top dogs all together for four days of fun. We had the option for conformation, dock diving, scent work, and fast cat competitions in one place for four days!!!
Thanks to everyone that put this together and made it happen! We squeaked by without getting too wet in the rain storms. It was frigid for most of us on the lead but the dogs were loving the brisk air! From the Tin Roof Dog House and family;
🏆 First and foremost, I would like to brag on a very special Tin Roof lady "Lacy" 🏆
"CH Tin Roof's Chantilly Lace for Adams Ranch FDC DCAT CGC TKN ATT"
🤩 "Lacy" and her owner/handler (and my dear friend), Brenda Adams, were awarded Grand Champion Select Bitch at the ACDCGLA Regional Specialty AND Best of Breed Owner Handler out of a huge and fabulous entry of the top ACDs in the country! Super duper amazing team that I am so very proud of. To be able to witness a relationship build between Lacy and Brenda has been extraordinary. We have built a friendship throughout this journey so far, and lacy couldn't have made me more proud. My heart is so full of joy and love to acknowledge how happy it makes me to see Brenda having fun with this beautiful girl Lacy. They are out there having a blast. Lacy and Brenda have earned titles on both ends and are learning more fun sports to try. From dock diving, scent work, fast cat, barn hunt, and urban locating, they just keep on winning and titling everywhere. I'm so proud to say that I bred and raised this lovely cattledog; however, the majority of what my puppies will or can become- depends on the forever home and dedication to training that is exhibited. What you put in to these dogs you will get back three fold.
I love this part of being a breeder! You guys make me so proud and so happy! Thank you Brenda & Mike Adams for loving "Chewy" the way you do. I could have never imagined the great memories we have made together. I love you guys and I'm so proud!

🐶 "Squisita" (Yamamay Di Monte Tonico) was entered in Open Bitch class, and was awarded 1st and Winners Bitch on day 1 from Judge Mrs. Janice McClary. This gave her a 5 point major towards her championship.
Judge Mrs. Marie Ann Falconer- 3rd place
Judge Mr. Butch Schulman- 3rd place
Judge Mrs. Julie Felton - 1st place
Squizzie whizzie whoooooo.... is such a delight to be around. She is so happy and resembles a motorized pogo stick that is stuck in the "on" position and out of control! Haha 😂 she's a true blast to own and love. We need more practice in the ring for her to shine her best moving around the ring, but we have a great time showing together. Squissie is imported from Italy out of the Monte Tonico Kennels out of Russian Roulette Di Monte Tonico and by Que Blue Cornerstone (AU import). A recent birthday on 03/30/2022 makes her just barely two years old now. There will be much more fun in store for squisita! Her photo is shown on the main title of this post, and this is her zooming around the ring .
🐶 "Gavin" ("GCHS CH Royal's Greatest Love Story FDC SWN SCE SBA CGC") was awarded Grand Champion Select Dog two of the days, Best of Breed Owner Handler, and a Herding Group Owner Handler Group One! To say I am proud is an understatement. The entries consisted of over 50 ACDs. Select was worth a 5 point major towards Gavin's "Gold Grand Championship". Gavin was also requested to be used by one of the juniors. Gavin was a good boy in the junior showmanship ring. I am concerned that I may need to hire the junior to show for me! These kids in the junior showmanship are absolutely incredible. They are born into this dog show world and handling just looks like it comes so naturally to them. I really enjoyed being able to have a dog that was well behaved enough to trust on the end of a 8 year olds lead in the show ring. She could handle a wild mustang on the end of the lead I am pretty sure however knowing I could trust Gavin to not be a feed, is truly a wonderful feeling.
🐶 "Toots" ("Royal's Cool It Cowboy At Tin Roof") was 2nd in her 12-18 month puppy bitch class by Judge Janice McClary, 1st on second day from Judge Mrs. Julie Felton, 1st place on third day from Judge Mr. Butch Schulman, and 1st on fourth day from Judge Marie Ann Falconer. 🤩🎊
The entire weekend was such great fun. I even was enticed to play tag, and hide n seek with the kiddos. Lynda White and Joyce Rowland did a fantastic job of the ritual White Taco night that Lynda cooks for us all. Kylie Higgins organized an amazing raffle with super unique and fun prizes. I had a lot of fun with friends that I have not been able to see in a long time. I am so grateful that I was healthy enough to go and show my dogs. I am so blessed with amazing people, friends, dogs, and life to enjoy! Thank you all for your support and loved for Tin Roof ACDs and especially for the love and preservation of the ACD!
❤️ Never Give Up. Remember to always Appreciate every day the gifts that god has given you.
